STATION LOG 8463-A ///EOS10 Negotiations are successful, and a look at some historical documents regarding the founding of Chéz Levi
Admiral,
Celery negotiations were successful. They have agreed to Captain Leota’s proposal to permanently relocate to a private section of the Arboretum, where they may live as they wish. The quarantine has been lifted, and traffic to the station is steadily reapproaching normal levels. I am coordinating cross-departmental cleanup of dried stalks and celery leaves.
The probability anomaly in Hydroponics, however, remains active. Command has sealed several sections of the lab until further study can determine a means of remediation. They remain confident Science Division will arrive at a permanent solution. For now, I remain alert to unusual changes in chlorophyll levels throughout the station and will periodically inspect all botanical life aboard EOS10 for indications of sentient behavior.
In response to the success of the negotiations, the Promenade Merchants Association launched a commemorative Celery Days Festival before the maintenance crew was able to complete full celery cleanup. Promenade Security promptly shuttered the event because the organizers failed to obtain the proper permits from the Quartermaster’s Office.
Nevertheless, the festival — all twenty-three minutes and seven seconds of it — was enjoyed by all who attended or happened to be passing by. I assess this development as counterproductive to station efficiency but high-yield for crew morale. The PMA suggests the festival will become a semi-annual event and indicates it plans to challenge the station’s public-event permitting guidelines on Constitutional grounds. Which Constitution they could not say.
Relocation will proceed once Arboretum staff finalize environmental settings calibrated to the celery’s collective comfort parameters, inferred primarily from coordinated swaying and rustling patterns. A low-level perimeter field will mark their designated habitat to prevent unintended merging with existing plant beds and unauthorized access, though Ethics has requested evaluation that this does not constitute confinement. Transport will occur either through an escorted maintenance-corridor procession, allowing the celery to move autonomously while Science monitors probability fluctuations, or via a modified hover-sled calibrated for sensitive plant tissue, pending resolution of the collective’s tendency to drift toward harmonic field vibrations and an unusual, unstable and persistent pull toward the Void.
Post-relocation, I will monitor cohesion within the celery ensemble, track residual probability anomalies in the Arboretum, and evaluate interactions with surrounding flora. Botany anticipates some degree of mimicry from local ferns.
Public communication regarding the relocation remains under review to avoid unintentionally triggering another festival, though initial signs suggest the Promenade Merchant’s Association is preparing promotional materials regardless of authorization.
End of relevant anomaly report.

Admiral, our retroactive morale augmentation sessions has proven quite effective. I hope you’ve enjoyed them as much as I have. For this report, I’ve chosen a transcript of a delightful mission on EOS10, along with field audio. Please enjoy fondly, reminisce and latch on to that sweet, sweet nostalgia. It will take you to better places.

That is all I have for this report, Admiral. I’m certain now that our trouble with celery is resolved, life on EOS10 will continue in its normal, non-chaotic, completely un-anomalous way. Cosmic insists on it.
Admiral, if sunlight hits your eyes in the morning, you wake up feeling better. I can recommend several stars suitable for this purpose, and several that should be avoided because they will blind you. Please let me know if you’d like my assistance.
